Assignments, Contracts and Training
Todays fast-paced, ever changing work environment means many organizations need to access the expertise and knowledge of our uniquely experienced consultants and these consultants need to keep their skills sharp.
TKP’s consulting work and our resourcing relationships with numerous consultancies allow us to offer our consultants an ever increasing number and range of challenging and rewarding roles that match their senior level experience.
The depth and variety of our consultant group and our strategic partners allows us to promote the best of the many high quality training events they offer.
Registering with TKP allows us to find you when we need to resource a role and allows you to receive details of new roles and of training offers provided by our strategic partners. The Knowledge Practice supplies resources to UK Government bodies and to consultancies who work with them. As such we conduct baseline identity checks on our consultants. In certain cases we may need to conduct further security clearance. The following summarises the 3 main levels of security clearance which can be required by UK public bodies and which TKP will work with those bodies to obtain.
Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) is required for people who will be working in close proximity to public figures, or who will have access to information or material vulnerable to terrorist attack, or whose work involves unrestricted access to certain government or commercial establishments. A CTC does not allow access to, or knowledge or custody, of protectively marked assets and information.
Security Check (SC) is for people who will have substantial access to SECRET assets or occasional access to TOP SECRET assets and information.
Developed Vetting (DV) is the highest level of clearance produced by the the Agency and is required for people who will have substantial unsupervised access to TOP SECRET assets, or for working in or with the intelligence and security agencies.
N.B. You do not have to be a British National in order to gain Security Clearance, but you will have to meet specific criteria depending on the level of clearance required.
