This consultant is an experienced Business and IT Programme and Project Manager working with structured methods and with over 20yrs+ experience gained at:

He has a sustained record of outstanding performance in achieving tough profit, cost and customer satisfaction targets in senior management teams of large multi site organisations. Delivering innovative business solutions in a number of diverse and challenging roles, including business critical programme/project management, business improvement, operations management and multi-site transformational change programmes.

This consultant has particular strength in delivery management of multiple suppliers and technolgies in a matrix environment with recent focus being in Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence and off-shoring. 

He has a wide experience of cost justification, design, and implementation of projects to deliver business benefits. He has excellent leadership and team building skills, valued for abilities in people management and development, coaching, performance delivery and service enhancement. Constructing high performing teams within multiple work-streams is a particular strength.

In the areas of strategic planning and operational review, he has worked on business evaluation analysis, impact and risk assessment, operational planning and consultation, critical success factor analysis and feasibility studies.

In respect to change management and BPR he has worked on business process re-engineering of business intelligence and service models, outsourcing and off-shoring, senior management mentoring with experience in HR change matters.

Business liaison, stakeholder, supplier and people management skills are consistently valued at all levels (including board) be it written, face to face or teleconference communication. 

He has been responsible for managing large budgets of £m+ and for teams of people from various technical and non-technical areas (contractors, permanent and off site and off shore staff).

  • Third party selection and delivery management e.g. IBM, Experian, Cap Gemini, Equitable, SAS
  • Off-shore systems development and supplier management - Wipro/TCS/Satyam
  • New product development for OEICs/ISA’s, Investment Plans, Life and Pension products
  • New business and administration support for PEP, Unit Trust and ISAs
  • Imaging and workflow systems – IBM Imageplus and AWD
  • New business and admin support for life and pension products using CAPSIL, LIFE, PALM
  • Underwriting and re-assurance processing
  • Executing business change in response to regulatory requirements (FSA, DWP)
  • Outsourced administration and investment/fund management solutions (Tilney/Mellon)
  • Definition and delivery of IT strategy and transformation projects
  • Set up of Call centre and customer servicing operations, processes and infrastructure
