After 12 years in systems development and systems management he joined the insurance group at Ernst & Young where he became an executive consultant. In 1998, after 9 years at E&Y, he became an independent consultant and has since undertaken business transformation, process reengineering and change management assignments at major insurance companies and banks.

• Proven programme and project management skills applicable to many industries but particular experience in insurance (Prudential, Swiss Re, Norwich Union, Sun Life Financial of Canada, GE Financial Services, Lloyd’s of London, Standard Life) and retail banking (RBS, The Woolwich, National Australia).
• Extensive experience of technology-driven change management and process reengineering involving acquisitions, new products, joint ventures, outsourcing, package selection and implementation.
• Has a pragmatic approach and achieves results by focusing on the teamwork, stakeholder management and communication required to reach the project goal and realise the benefits.
