This consultant has over twenty years' change experience within the strategic marketing, communications and distribution functions of blue chip financial services companies, including ten years with Prudential where she managed the development of their Integrated Distribution Operations, Change and Communication departments.
She is a leading practitioner in reducing risk (reputation) and accelerating delivery within high profile, customer focused change programmes, typically with business benefits in the region of £50 - £100m. She is also expert in the commonsense application of psychological techniques within major change programmes – at the communication and application level. Her successful major deliveries have been achieved by using innovative accelerated piloting techniques for testing and quantifying the assumptions underpinning the business case, identifying real areas of risk, reducing uncertainty and understanding and measuring the 'real' appetite for change. Her doctoral studies involve the management of corporate reputations in Financial Services Companies with both internal and external stakeholders.
Recent consulting assignments include the management and delivery of the strategy and business case for major changes to HBOS's mortgage business to save more than £5bn pa in mortgage retentions. This work completed in less than 3 months, accelerating time to market by almost 6 months. Retention has improved by over 300% in core operational areas of the business. She has also worked extensively with Norwich Union where, for example she drove the recent highly successful delivery of the award winning “Make Sense of It” financial literacy consumer website and has recently been involved in defining the research, communication and engagement strategy for a major eCommerce pilot.
