A senior business consultant/ business analyst with substantial experience of major business change projects for leading financial institutions. Specific recent experience in designing and leading the implementation of new customer identity verification processes to strengthen Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Customer risk controls and Sanctions compliance and prior Consulting experience across a wide range of financial services clients.
Key Activities

• Design and deliver major business change projects, detailed and complex analysis, investigation and research; 
• Development of Business Operational Models, Business Requirements and Solution/Functional designs; 
• Production of detailed business cases to secure funding for £m projects; 
• Provide specific, specialist and objective insight, advice and guidance; 
• Analysis of complex business processes and procedures; 
• Promotion of Risk-originated change projects into operational areas for implementation; 
• Supplier analysis, contract negotiation, liaison and selection through RFI and RFP process; 
• Project management of programme workstreams.

Knowledge and Skills

• Detailed understanding of the financial services industry, particularly retail banking, wealth management and insurance;
• Extensive knowledge of fraud and money laundering regulations and procedures, particularly UK, EU and US legislation including JMLSG guidance, Bank of England and OFAC Sanctions and AML/KYC Policy; 
• Extensive knowledge of many suppliers and providers of technical solutions to AML/Risk requirements; 
• Advanced report writing, communication and presentational skills; 
• Command of business analysis techniques, including the application of industry-standard methodologies; 
• Stakeholder management and influencing; 
• Strong customer relationship management knowledge
